Carolina Forero Sharma, International Business Manager from Colombia
We are going to have another exciting guest speaker for the course MBA738 Global Business: Carolina Ferero Sharma, an experienced international business manager and accomplished economic analyst from Colombia. Although Carolina was invited to speak to MBA738 students, all Carlow members are welcome to join us in this virtual event.

Bio: Carolina Ferero Sharma is an experienced international business manager from Colombia. She has worked as Project Manager for International Factoring and Segment Manager in Corporate Banking at Bancolombia, one of the major banks in Colombia (13th largest bank in Latin America based on assets). Before that she worked as an Economic Research Analyst in Investment Banking. In addition, she has been professor of economics at Andes University in Bogota where she completed her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Economics. In her spare time Carolina volunteered by fundraising and providing emotional support to abandoned or abused children in Colombia.
Carolina came to Pittsburgh as Fulbright Scholar from Colombia during 2008-2010. She received her Master’s degree in International Affairs at University of Pittsburgh with a major in international business and global political economy, and during her studies Carolina was chosen as an honors student and received the Faculty Award for academic distinction in International Affairs. Carolina worked as Teaching Assistant for graduate courses in International Trade, Macroeconomics and Economics for Public Affairs at the University of Pittsburgh. She has published several articles in student magazines and journals in the international field.
