The American Association of University Women (AAUW) empowers women and girls through advocacy, education, philanthropy, and research. Our nonpartisan, nonprofit organization has more than 150,000 members and supporters across the United States, as well as 1,000 local branches and 700 college and university partners. Since AAUW’s founding in 1881, our members have examined and taken positions on the fundamental issues of the day — educational, social, economic, and political. Carlow University is an AAUW member.

National Black MBA Association-Pittsburgh Chapter  is a non-profit organization of minority MBAs, business professionals, entrepreneurs and MBA students.  With close to 8,000 members working in both private and public sectors throughout the country, we share a commitment to education and business–the two principal keys to the economic development of the African-American community.

MBA Women International – Pittsburgh Professional Chapter is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to empowering women MBAs in order to propel more women into leadership positions in corporate America, and to enhance the diversity of the nation’s workforce. In order to accomplish our mission, MBAWI focuses our efforts in four key areas: education, professional development, networking, and collaboration.

Project Management Institute (PMI) is one of the world’s largest not-for-profit membership associations for the project management profession, with more than 650,000 members and credential holders in more than 185 countries. PMI administers many different levels of credentials for project managers, including the Project Management Professional (MP) credential.

National Association of Small Business International Education (NASBITE) is a professional organization for the global business community that coordinates and administers the Certified Global Business Professional (CGBP) credential, promotes an exchange of information and resources among global business education and assistance professionals, offers professional development for those engaged in global business education and assistance, and provides advocacy and leadership for global business education and assistance professionals.

Professional Pricing Society nurtures a growing community of pricing professionals committed to disseminating pricing expertise throughout the business world. We do this by providing a multi-platform forum through which exceptionally talented and creative experts can exchange cutting edge pricing strategies, tactics and technology. The Professional Pricing Society administers the Certified Pricing Professional (CP) credential.

International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) is the independent non-profit professional association for the growing field of business analysis. Our goal is to create greater awareness of the BA profession by defining what is business analysis and working towards recognition of the value of the business analyst role. IIBA® can help your business do business better, to gain a competitive advantage in the marketplace and enable your organization to succeed.

The Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences (INFORMS) is the largest professional society in the world for professionals in the field of operations research (O.R.), management science, and business analytics. In 2013 INFORMS will begin to offer the Certified Analytics Professional (CAP) credential which sets the standards for the business analytics, big data, and data science professions.

National Association of Sales Professionals  (NASP) is comprised of dynamic men and women who have distinguished themselves as leaders in the rapidly changing world of sales. They have committed to advancing their careers and financial security by participating in our community. Our community links career-minded professionals together into a nationwide peer network. This further increases the individual’s credentials, leading to even more visible stature as a Sales Professional.
