This joint study, Analytics: The real-world use of big data; How innovative enterprises extract value from uncertain data, addresses the journey organizations are taking to achieve business value from big data. Based on a survey of more than 1100 business and IT executives, combined with executive interviews and case studies, the findings establish the benchmarks that define the big data era ahead. The IBM Executive Report digs deep to determine exactly where executives are in relation to big data — what it means to them, what opportunities they see, where they are doing well, and where they need help to progress.
